The Great One's celebrity star continues to rise. Earlier this month, Susan and Gina were featured in a Channel 6 news broadcast about running in cold weather. At the same time, all viewers of promotional material for the Megatransect trail race were greeted by the smiling faces of the Great One and Maureen.

Pointing to a mountain of crushed stone and rubble behind them, Susan and Maureen seem to be saying "Do we have a deal for you!" Apparently, people were buying whatever Susan and Maureen were selling because Megatransect 2010 sold out very quickly (10 days!) and they are using the Wanderer duo to adorn the waiting list page.

By the way, this is not the first time Wanderers were used to promote events...or regional visitors guides for that matter. Last year, X-Factor graced the cover of the Hyner 2009 Visitors Guide.

O.K., X-Factor, now I am beginning to get it. But I have some information for you. While your X-Factor powers might work on land, they do not translate to water. I am going to whip you in our match swimming race coming up on Sunday. At that point you will become the ex-X Factor!!!

First I am confused why we are discussing this under Susan and Maureen's story but OK. Xfactor is a creation of Matt Mauren. When I don't train, go happy houring during the week, and can still perform at races or trail runs Matt said it can only be for one reason....the Xfactor

X-Factor....What does it mean??

This story raises an old question for me. I am still a little confused on the name X-Factor. What exactly does X-Factor mean? Does it have something to do with the O'Reilly Factor? Actually that makes a little sense because Chris does remind me a little of Bill O'. Could someone please enlighten me.
